Spiritual Warfare

The Bible warns us clearly that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Knowing the enemy aims to destroy, the Apostle Peter commanded early believers to stay highly alert, writing:, "e;Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour"e; (1 Peter 5:8). And also stated in Revelation 12:17, "e;And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."e; Many Christians still don't know that they are in a battle in this world. Some Christians believe that if they don't pray that much, the enemy won't bother them. The enemy is not that gentle, my friend. If Christians didn't wear the full armor of God and did not know how to do spiritual warfare, the enemy could easily defeat them. The enemy will keep pressuring the children of God, causing them to depart from their faith. This is no joke at all! The Bible tells us that Christians will be persecuted in these last days, and it's happening now globally. Jesus said in John 15:18-19, "e;If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."e; "e;If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you."e; (John 15:20) Therefore, it is no surprise that a born-again believer who walks in the Lord's path faces persecution, challenges, or attacks from the enemy. However, we should not overthink this. We need to focus all our lives on Jesus and trust in his words.
