Rebirth Fiteen Years Later

Following the painful separation between Mike and his partner, for reasons entirely unrelated to his affair with Séverine, he left France. The mother settled in the South of France, leaving her daughter in the Paris region at the mercy of the first passerby.Compared to what she had experienced before, Séverine's new venture was a genuine psychological regression. The lifestyle she once knew had vanished alongside Mike. Disillusioned time and again by the men with whom she tried to share her daily life, Séverine led a harsh, austere existence, surviving solely on social aid. Mike made several futile attempts to maintain a connection, breaking through the barriers erected between them by her mother, who lived in fear that he might one day reveal who she truly was. After fifteen years, he finally managed to re-establish contact with Séverine step by step. During a trip back to France, having caught wind of her mental and social distress, he wished to see her again, a feeling Séverine fully shared. During his years abroad, Mike had accumulated a considerable fortune and harbored the idea of one day offering a second chance to the girl who had never been given the opportunity to take it.She merely lived day to day, praying that the next would be better than the last. She confessed to him that she remained unchanged, holding onto the exact same mindset and philosophy of life. Though unable to fulfill her dreams, the passion for "e;scriptwriting and directing"e; she once shared with Mike was as vibrant as ever, and she dreamed of one day recreating that world of pleasures around her. The volcano was dormant, but far from extinct. Séverine quickly recovered her former clarity; in a matter of hours, she transformed back into the woman she used to be. The transition was striking. Mike's intent was to found an association, providing Séverine with a purpose truly tailored to her talents.
