"e;Biology"e; is the science that studies living organisms in all their aspects, from their formation and lifespan to their characteristics and relationships with each other. Biology is divided into two main branches: "e;botany"e; and "e;zoology."e; Botany studies all types of plants, from familiar trees like palms and mulberries to microscopic plants like algae and bacteria. Zoology, on the other hand, studies animals, from simple organisms like amoebas and worms to humans and advanced animals like monkeys and horses. Biology is not limited to classifying living organisms; it also addresses the fundamental differences between them and non-living organisms. One of the most important of these differences is "e;organisms."e; Living organisms are composed of specialized cells and organs, while inanimate objects are similar in structure. Living organisms also possess the ability to "e;grow internally"e; and reproduce, unlike inanimate objects, which grow only by external means. Furthermore, living organisms have a complex chemical composition, different from inanimate objects, which are composed of simple materials. Through these studies, life science can provide a deeper understanding of the relationships between living organisms and their environment and each other, contributing to enhanced knowledge of biodiversity and the mechanisms of life on planet Earth.
