Through the story/story/song, the creative storyteller/Hamid al-Faqih fills the land of the soul with the elements of survival. In his eyes are green wishes with which he confronts, and with the weapon of the story, the harshest transformations that the Yemeni person has ever experienced in his history. We are faced with a writer who praises language, and through language his narrative imagination, which is a combination of social reference and the artist's talent. Through (A Song for My Mother and Three Stories for Passers-by), we find the storyteller Hamid Al-Faqih presenting his vision of the world, which is a mature and critical vision at the same time, seeking a high worthy of man and human dignity. The story remains our consolation in life, with which we shape our lives, and use it as a talisman for survival
