SOMETIMES FATE FAVORS THE WICKED, TOO.Sergeant Lati Brooks has a talent for violence, a killer smile, and a permanent place in the elite Fae Queen's Guard. Her life is simple: kill threats, earn promotions, and trust no one but her blades.Lately, her routine consists of guarding the border and hacking apart the undead monsters leaking over from the collapsing human realm. Kill. Sleep. Repeat. It's a simple, bloody existence, and she likes it that way.Until a disgustingly attractive dark elf prince steps out from the tree line and shatters her perfect routine with three little words:"e;It is you."e;Prince Keiwren is peddling an idiotic prophecy, and he claims Lati is the only one who can help him save the mortal realm from total annihilation. She wants to tell him exactly where he can shove his destiny, but Fate says otherwise.Saving the world is a massive pain in the ass. Especially since the prophecy requires one tiny detail from Lati:All she has to do is die.(Trigger Warning: Violence, Gore, Murder, Death, Offensive Language, Referral to SA)
