Corrected by the Headmaster ... as a married woman.Back in our final days of high school, my girlfriend was caught smoking behind the bicycle shed.Mr. Carter, the Headmaster at the time, was so angry that he took her to his office and corrected her bad behavior with his most persuasive school cane.That young lady is now my wife. We are happy and successful, we have lovely family and friends, and we have the home of our dreams in the burbs.Everything is perfect except for one thing; my wife has taken up smoking again, and that doesn't sit well with either of us. In fairness, she is doing her level best to kick the habit, but nothing seems to be working.With that in mind, I have made contact with Mr. Carter, and he has kindly agreed to help. However, he is inclined to believe the situation may require a more intense level of therapy than last time.Our appointment to see him is at eight o'clock this evening, so I guess we will find out for sure then.
