From a small town in Louisiana, a little boy has grown up to now be a grandfather. After surviving a deadly surgical procedure at five years of age, being born to senior parents, suffering the loss of his dad at twelve years of age, learning things the hard way in life, watching the passing of six brothers and sisters, and achieving a successful career that required living in many cities and many different areas of the USA, with so many cultural differences, David reveals his thoughts, understanding, and insights in this book with hopes of helping new and searching dads.David shares this book with a deep desire that it will provide guidance, which he missed due to the early death of his own father, to young men that plan to become a dad and to those that have become one, so that they may be a better dad.This desire is captured in his book Becoming a Dad.
