Vitrimers

Vitrimers are thermoset-like polymers having thermoplastic-like processing characteristics, and have been the focus of extensive research, development, and applications in both academia and industry. These materials, also known as covalent adaptable networks (CANs), reversible covalent bonds containing polymers (RCBPs), or reorganizable networks, exhibit a combination of the network-like structure of thermosets and the flexibility and processability of thermoplastics.
