Animal trypanosomiasis is the main factor retarding the development of the African livestock industry. Trypanosomiasis, in most cases, defined as either acute or chronic in both natural and experimental infected animals . The pathogenic effects of T. evansi including fever, loss of weight and appetite, anaemia, loss of productivity, cachexia, nervous signs, and death.
