Truth for Their Hearts

Many parents have made the comment, "I don't know enough about the Bible to teach my children or lead them spiritually. I need to leave this to the church."

No more! No more will we as parents shirk our God-given responsibility to leave the call that God has given us in raising our children to know and love the Lord to our church. At best, our kids are being taught in the church maybe one hundred hours per year. The world has that much time to pour into them every week. There's no comparison.

If we truly want our children to grow up in the Lord, knowing Him, and walking closely with Him, we must take this responsibility back and realize He will give us the needed grace as soon as we start to walk this road.

That is the motivation behind this devotional. No longer, simply reading a book to them and when it's over going back to the drawing board for what's next. This devotional exists to help equip parents to disciple their children (no matter the age) while walking chronologically through Scripture (Genesis to Revelation) in a flexible manner to accommodate even the busiest schedules while offering enough material to dive in deep several times each week.

I promise, after going through this devotional, not only will you have led your child(ren) through the entire Bible in easy bite-size pieces but also have more confidence and ability to fulfill the calling God has given us as parents.
