Carefronting Nigeria is indebted to a number of individuals, organizations and institutions for their support and efforts in making the writing and production of this manual a success. We appreciate our funders Embassy of the United States of America, Abuja not just for making the publication of this manual a reality but also for supporting workshops to test the validity of the content. Grazyna Bonati for documenting, Toby Riley, Sue Thorp and Tessy Gusim for prove reading, Derriel, Darren and Darina for collation, Tonier Cain and Heeling Neen Inc for allowing us use their pictures and story and finally Kate, Nas and Precious for facilitating the trial workshops. The idea of working on this manual was developed and hatched years back and there are ideas, writings, perspectives, books, articles, etc. that we might have come across or adopted over the years, but so long ago that we might not remember the authors and thus not mentioned them. This was not to take the credit, but because we lost the sources. However, they are all appreciated, even in silence.
