Some lights are never truly lost.

On evenings in the family vineyard, Mia loved walking with Dillon and listening to Grandpa Leo talk about caring for the vines and finding beauty in things other people were finished with. Grandpa turned pieces of colored glass into one-of-a-kind lanterns, and together they began a special lantern just for Mia.

After Grandpa Leo is gone, the lantern remains unfinished-and so does something inside Mia. Then, during a fierce storm and a sudden blackout, Grandpa's long-closed workshop door blows open. With Dillon at her side, Mia follows flashes of color into the room and discovers the unfinished lantern, Grandpa's sketch, and one last piece of deep-blue glass.

What begins as a frightening night becomes a gentle discovery about grief, memory, courage, and the ways love can continue to guide us after someone is gone.
