Names are disappearing from maps.

Roads return travelers to places no official record admits ever existed. A village receives desperately needed medicine, yet no one can remember where it was delivered. Along the Storm Coast, a wet mooring rope remains tied to an empty berth for a vessel no one can name.

The war over false histories has ended, but peace has divided the realm between two lawful governments. Now Aren, Elara, Kaelen, Rysa, and Sylra face a danger that does not replace the past with a lie. It removes the names, relationships, and consequences that allow people to prove they ever belonged to the world at all.

The five realms possess different ways of preserving truth. None is enough by itself. The surviving Crown cannot choose for them, and every attempt to create one official history threatens to erase those who do not fit within it.

Then an ancient name is uncovered beneath the stones: Aurelith.

It could make the roads hold, restore the maps, and give the divided realm a single history again. It could also turn preservation into conquest.

As settlements vanish, armies mobilize, and political factions demand certainty, the five realms must decide whether safety is worth surrendering every truth that refuses to become one.
