The Healing Water

The Healing Water: A PapaK Story

Sometimes healing doesn't mean becoming who you were before. Sometimes it means discovering who you can become next.

PapaK once knew what it felt like to be strong, active, and ready for whatever adventure came his way. Then injury changed the course of his life.

Physical pain was only part of the struggle. When the things that once seemed natural became difficult, PapaK had to learn that courage can look very different when life doesn't go according to plan.

Then he discovered the water.

In swimming, PapaK found more than exercise. He found a place of peace, movement, confidence, and healing. The water could not erase what had happened, but it helped him discover a way forward. [amazon.co.uk], [amazon.ie]

Years later, that experience became something he could share with his grandchildren.

As PapaK helps them become comfortable in the water, he teaches them more than how to float or swim. Together they discover lessons about trust, patience, courage, trying again, and the special bond that can grow when one generation takes the time to teach another.
