That's a Lot of Axolotl

Five curious axolotls are about to discover why remembering is its own kind of celebration.

As Día de Muertos approaches, Luma, Maya, Coco, Nawi, and Teca have plenty of questions. Why do families build ofrendas? What do marigolds, candles, photographs, and favorite foods mean? And how can a celebration help them feel close to someone they miss?

Guided by their loving Abue Loti, the five siblings learn about the Indigenous roots of Día de Muertos and how the tradition grew over time.
