Adam Tomasek is a troubled high school student who carries the guilt of murdering his brother throughout his life. Angered and ashamed of himself, he becomes emotionally shut off from his parents who, in his eyes, also blame him for what he committed. Adam's frustration leads him to start fights in school, causing him to be expelled and forcing his family to relocate in Chicago. But his involvement with her only threatens his position in the league, for as he ventures deeper inside, he finds everything is not what it first seems.
