War-torn Vietnam in the 1960's and a group of American soldiers is trapped in an abandoned French fortress during a raging monsoon. North Vietnamese soldiers seek to retrieve a strange goddess statue from the fortress. Michael Powers, one of the trapped soldiers, hears the same voices that plagued his father, John.
