A principios de los años sesenta del siglo pasado, un grupo de inmigrantes alemanes se asentaron en una localidad del interior de Chile y fundaron Colonia Dignidad. Durante décadas se presentaron como una modélica comunidad agrícola, hasta que los testimonios de algunos colonos revelaron el horror que se vivía dentro de sus muros. El fundador, un exmilitar nazi, abusó sistemáticamente de todos los niños que vivieron allí y colaboró con el régimen de Pinochet poniendo la colonia a su servicio para el tráfico de armas y como centro de tortura. "Sprinters" pasa con naturalidad de la ficción a la no ficción en una historia fascinante que se lee como un viaje a los abismos del mal. Nos plantea preguntas incómodas sobre la indolencia y la complicidad de todos los que prefieren no ver.
