Saving Hell

   "CJ, you have repeatedly lived each life in the worst possible way. You have committed all seven of the deadly sins."

"For some reason, up until now, someone has been making exceptions for you. Someone wanted to see you succeed; this council doesn't believe very much in reincarnation, and now you are here. We believe you reap what you sow. CJ, you have done nothing for the world, and you are sentenced to a cell in The Halls of Torment." 

CJ stood in the Hall of Judgement, her mind confused and numb. Hell, the word echoed around inside CJ's mind. Ricocheting off the walls of her brain, her stomach twisted. Fire, brimstone, punishment, and torture was all she had been told of Hell. She didn't even know it existed. CJ had lived a life of torment and now she was going to spend her afterlife in it as well. Then in walked Jax. Her tormentor. The keeper of her cell.

Jax was very serious about his job, his role. The rules were the rules and he made sure to follow them. Then he locked eyes with her. Her warm chocolate brown eyes burned into him and screamed they were meant for him. Something deep inside him stirred; this strange pull. His stomach knotted in anticipation. He knew instantly he was going to break all the rules for her. Is he willing to throw it all away for her? Can she be the key to Saving Hell from the corruption that is now taking over?
