Saltborn

Saltborn unfolds within the Etraek Empire - a rising ork dominion forged in discipline, industry, and unity. Steam driven forges and shipyards thunder alongside ancient traditions, as the empire struggles to balance progress with the weight of its fading past. Though powerful, the Etraek face a quiet crisis: their society is female dominated, their population in decline, and males are rare, treasured, and burdened with expectation.

At the heart of the story are Lissara, a hardened ork woman, and Rhyssen, one of the few ork men, both sworn members of the empire's elite division known as the Silent Watch. Tasked with hunting a fugitive, their pursuit draws them into shadows deeper than they imagined - a web of secrets, betrayals, and forces that threaten not only their empire but the world beyond.

As catastrophe strikes, their path crosses with Kael, Rhea, Aeris, and Glint, survivors of battles against powers older than empires. Together, they stand in the wake of devastation: the Etraek Empire nearly crippled, the Holy Kingdom of Arados pressing its claim, armies rising, and enemies stirring from within.
