Maggie King is off on another adventure!

When Maggie and her husband, Matt visit a pumpkin patch with their 1-year-old daughter, Bethany, they're shocked to see a man lying down in the pumpkin patch with a knife sticking out of his chest. Unfortunately, there are plenty of people who'd love to see the victim dead. Add a ten-year-old cold case along with a feud between two farming families in the vicinity of the Great Dismal Swamp. Even Maggie is stumped! At the urging of an elderly friend, she attempts to solve the murder in the pumpkin patch and the cold case.

Take a trip back in time to 1987 to a small town in the Tidewater area of Virginia where old-fashioned values, going to church, and flying the flag are still popular. Meet amateur sleuth Maggie King, a young wife and mother whose husband attends Tidewater Theological Seminary. Their young lives are filled with financial struggles but blessed with rich relationships and numerous adventures.
