While working on a workbook for a new class (Life After Divorce) and stressing about the unbelievable high divorce rate in our country (even among Christians), an idea came to me about why marriages fail. This led to an all-new perspective of how God originally intended marriage to be in the beginning and even today. As I worked on the new class and shared my thoughts, many friends suggested I write a book about my ideas. As they continued to encourage me, I began to put a possible outline together and it exploded. My hope is that as you read, you will discover a possible answer to the epidemic of divorce we see in this country today. I will be suggesting that the answer is found in our complete understanding of God's intent for marriage, of what it is and what it is meant to be. We will dig deep into this idea of why our divorce rate is so high (even among the Christian community) and what may be a solution. We will be using Bible scripture from multiple translations to support our hypothesis
