In order to satisfy their curiosity about God - but not being silly enough to build a machine that would transport them to Heaven - five intrepid and insatiably curious scientists enlist the help of a dozing Bible historian to time-travel back over 2,900 years to visit the Prophet Elijah. Although well-known back in his time, the Prophet is not an easy person to find and the scientists attempt to fine-tune their coordinates to make sure they don't go off their mark like they did on their last time-travel expedition...which, apparently, Alvin the historian seems to have mysteriously forgotten about... Author William Dunigan is an ordained minister whose interest in Bible studies and science fiction was the basis for this and his previous book, Reviving the Dead Church by Reminiscing the Day of Pentecost. He lived most of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio, before joining the navy, where he spent 18 months in hazardous combat. William currently lives in Rentz, Georgia, where he enjoys morning walks with his dog, Midnight. Publisher's website: http://www.eloquentbooks.com/OffToVisitTheProphetElijah.html
