My Auntie...The Magical Fairy

Hello! My name is Charles "Baby Handz" Comber, and I was inspired to create this book and illustrations for one of my long-time tattoo clients. She has shared so many amazing stories of her life with me; some that truly resonated were about her little niece Ashlyn. One of my favorites is the one that led to the idea for the creation of this book.

She told me that one night while she was sleeping, she woke to Ashlyn staring at her. At first, she was a bit stunned as any of us would be, and when she asked her what was going on, Ashlyn said that she was staying awake so that she could see her fairy wings appear. "My fairy wings?" she asks... "Yes! In the morning you wake up with messy hair and that's how I know you are a fairy, because your wings come out at night, and you go on all these amazing journeys!"

Little Ashlyn looks up to her auntie for so many reasons. From being a hard-working nurse to a loving mother and wife, accepting of all walks of life, Stevie Nicks lover, tattoo enthusiast, to a witchy woman who makes healing and magical creations from the earth. The only true way to describe this amazing woman is pure magic.
