As implant dentistry is progressing rapidly, the implants with small diameters are one of the major advancements in dental history; they can be used successfully in a variety of clinical situations. Nevertheless, MDI showed high survival rates, but special cautions of bone quality and good oral hygiene should be maintained.The MDI-supported removable prostheses successfully improved patients' chewing and speaking ability, quality of life, and satisfaction, suggesting that MDIs are a viable and safe option to support removable prostheses in the mandibular arch.
