Merry loves Christmas. Griffin would rather skip straight to January.

In the charming little town of Hollybrook, Christmas isn't just a holiday. It's a way of life. And Merry fits right in, name and all. She's never needed an excuse to celebrate, but Christmas gives her plenty of them.

Enter Griffin: successful, stubborn, ridiculously handsome, and about as festive as a lump of coal.

When his father's failing health brings him back to the hometown he left behind, Griffin has every intention of keeping his visit short. Unfortunately, he didn't account for Merry, the relentlessly cheerful caretaker who's made herself right at home in his childhood house.

Naturally, they drive each other crazy. But between Christmas cookies, a snowstorm that traps them under the same roof, and a cranky old man who somehow wedged himself into both of their hearts, Griffin begins to wonder if the life he's built is really the life he wants.

And Merry? She's discovering that beneath all that grumpiness is a man who's surprisingly easy to fall for.

But not everything can be fixed with Christmas magic. As his father's remaining time grows painfully short, Merry and Griffin must navigate family, forgiveness, and the heartbreaking reality that tomorrow is never guaranteed.
