Managing Dams and Barrages Safety

Dams and Barrages play a pivotal role in the economic development of a country. Generally, dams/ barrages' safety programs are managed by a regulatory authority that establishes standards for design, construction, monitoring, reporting & maintenance. Any deficiencies & lapses in the operation & management of dams may result in catastrophic events resulting in colossal loss of property as well as lives.
