Fahd has uncovered Ebrahim's deception.

After learning that the ruler in his custody was only a magical clone, Fahd travels alone with Lire, the white dragon, to find the real Ebrahim. Rather than attack the quiet village sheltering his former friend, Fahd offers him one final challenge: come to the capital within seventy-two hours and settle their conflict before the entire kingdom.

Ebrahim accepts.

Leaving Zuri and Takaura behind for their own protection, Ebrahim travels to Fahd's capital with Santos, the black dragon. There, thousands gather inside a grand coliseum to witness the confrontation between two former allies whose choices divided their kingdoms.

But the arena will not provide the simple duel either man expects.

As Fahd and Ebrahim prepare to face one another, Lire steps between them and demands that both men prove what remains of their courage, strength, and honor. Watched by Koki, Santos, the people of the capital, and the dragons themselves, the contest becomes a judgment of leadership rather than a battle for victory.

Fahd must prove that his strength is more than spectacle. Ebrahim must confront how much of his former power he has lost. By the end of the challenge, one ruler will stand celebrated, while the other must accept exile and the end of his reign.

Far away, Zuri and Takaura begin a new journey of their own when they discover a hidden shrine guarded by the mysterious demon Sheol.
