La pensée dialectique de Hegel lui a de fait donné déjà une réalité isolable : elle a même ébauché un commencement de théorie.Mais il fallait attendre la possibilité de confronter la parole dialectique hégélienne avec les accomplissements rigoureux du langage rationnellement articulé, ceux dont les formalismes logico-mathématiques d'aujourd'hui permettent de disposer. On arrive ainsi à ressaisir dans son originalité cette tentative de création, au bénéfice de la raison philosophante, d'un langage autre que celui auquel le linguistique s'attend.Dominique Dubarle précise avec soin ce qu'il faut savoir des formalismes logico-mathématiques, mais s'en est tenu aux seuls premiers éléments du sujet.
