Lincolns II

Lincoln Grimes has now been living in the nineteenth century for over two years. Using his Agathii designed personal interface, physics simulator, and information from his time, he's been able to design and patent hundreds of inventions. Almost all of those inventions are being made by an increasing number of employees and contractors. Who are making good money doing so. The tech base of the mid nineteenth century has a lot of the necessary pieces to allow folks to make things.

Meanwhile Link is in the newly formed United States Air Force, which is acting as the eyes for the Union Army and Navy. The South is in rebellion, the Anaconda Plan is in effect, and perhaps the greatest asset the South has is George McClellan in command of the Army of the Potomac.

Politics, logistics, technology and finance must all play a role in preserving the Union. Even more, making sure that the Union that comes out of the Civil War will be a nation worth preserving.

It's not just Link. From Main to California the North is finding the South's Peculiar Institution harder and harder to stomach. Frederick Douglass, Sojourner Truth and audio plays, are on the radio. Honest Abe is giving the nation Fireside Chats in its time of troubles.

The South is becoming more intransigent with every new invention. Things are going faster in the new history than in Link's but the South isn't giving up.
