Wren Alderwood is what some might call standoffish, though she prefers the term "self-actualized." While she's always been comfortable in her own skin, the overstimulation from her ability to see auras is pushing her to a breaking point.

Lucky for Wren, her least favorite person, Julian Anderson is looking to pass the torch as the baker at his parent's coffee shop, Brewed Awakening. A new opportunity is on the horizon for Julian, and despite his guilty conscience, he knows he needs to take it. It's the best thing he can do for his future, and his old job seems like the perfect next step for Wren.
