However, despite the growing support forinterprofessional collaboration there is a limitedunderstanding of how patient experiences areinfluenced by interprofessional working. This bookwill shed light on this issue using insights gainedfrom midwifery clients. The stories of the womensuggest that interprofessional consultation iscomplex with instances of subjugation and resistanceoccurring simultaneously as differing professionalideologies collide.
