Clearly analyzed and easy to read, this book systematically presents the strategy, techniques and methods for organic spectra, including 1H NMR spectra,13C NMR spectra, 2D NMR spectra (in common use), MS spectra and IR spectra.§The rules for interpretation of organic spectra are summarized as well as possible, especially for the interpretation of simple cleavage reactions in EI MS.§All spectra are analyzed in depth and in detail.§Some original ideas from the author, which are important for spectral interpretation, are proposed, such as the priority of the analysis of coupled splittings over the analysis of chemical shift values in the interpretation of 1H NMR spectra.§This book contains up-to-dated information, such as the interpretation of tandem MS spectra, how to find spectra from websites.§The difficulties of structures of the discussed examples are greatly variable, from simple structures which contain only several carbon atoms to that which has 47 carbon atoms. Therefore, this book is suitable for students and staff of related studies.
