The book provides a new information framework in order to analyze and design control systems. Thus, after a review of the information concept used in control theory, a framework for characterizing the information exchange in a control problem is proposed and used to analyze and compare several iterative and adaptive control schemes. On the second part, a more informative model validation procedure is proposed.
