The study further points out that despite the existing measures to manage forests such as government policies and laws on management of forests, it remains a serious challenge because the majority poor literally depend on trees for their living and this has gone into conflict with the need to conserve the forests and the environment. the The research proposed an Environmental Education program whose content targets four main dimensions, reorient people`s value systems, Attitude towards the environment, Practice and participation in Environmental activities and Skills development.
