Greek Classics: The Amazons (Easy Classics)

Hippolyta is the Queen of the Amazons, a fierce race of warrior women. She wears a magic belt gifted by the God of War, which the demigod Heracles has been sent to steal. His friend Theseus, however, does more than steal – he kidnaps Hippolyta’s sister Antiope. At first, all Antiope wants is to return home, but she is soon torn by love for her newborn son. Hippolyta, meanwhile, will stop at nothing to get Antiope back.
