Graveyard Shift Academy: The Night School Beneath the Yard is the first book in a six-book series. Each subsequent book will follow one member of the original crew as they deepen their training, face new challenges, and pass the Academy's knowledge on to the next generation of students.

The Graveyard Shift Academy series is dedicated to every worker who has ever punched a clock before sunrise, and to every child who has ever fallen asleep waiting for them to come home.

For the children of the graveyard shift-

the ones who fall asleep to the sound of a parent's key in the lock at 2 a.m.,

who eat cereal for dinner on double-shift nights,

who know that the world runs because somebody's mama or daddy

went to work when everybody else was sleeping.
