This volume addresses the dynamic nature of misogyny: how it travels, what technological and cultural affordances support or obstruct this, and what impact reappropriated expressions of misogyny have in other cultures. Despite growing social concern about online misogyny, discussion and debate of the issue has been primarily journalistic to date and has tended to focus on the Western world, overlooking the experiences of women elsewhere.
