: A roadside psychic with one glowing green eye reveals himself as a 200-year-old tripartite being with an angelic father, offers to guide the broadcaster to real threats versus those requiring compassion, and they exchange numbers.

The broadcaster witnesses a pre-dawn Druidic tree ritual with sexual components in the courtyard, then meets the 83-year-old neighbor who participated and learns she has been maintaining her vitality through the practice for years.
Barbarians invented asymmetrical warfare
: Two hundred men armed with bladed weapons cross from a pre-industrial earth, attack residents and police through the city, resist conventional crowd control through military discipline, and are ultimately eliminated after being declared a gang rather than an interdimensional incursion.
Bounty hunting for fun and profit
Three telegenic bounty hunters use social media to crowdsource the location of four interdimensional fugitives, execute them live on stream with shrunken head trophies, and are revealed to be a private vendetta operation for a wealthy client with a grievance.
