"Corporethereal": Love and Resistance is a collection of poems and short essays by Puerto Rican author Nelson David Cruz Bermúdez, also known as SŌNiD. This book merges neuroscience and art through poetic and reflective writing that creates an introspective dialogue aimed at deep self-awareness and personal reflection. The book invites readers to engage with language, not only as an aesthetic experience, but also as a cognitive and emotional exploration of the human condition. The book is divided into three sections: the first part, REBIRTH, includes messages about life, time, social consciousness, willpower, values, and respect, inviting readers to reflect on personal transformation, resilience, and the capacity to find meaning through adversity, growth, and continuous self-reinvention. The second part, LOVE, contains poems about love, family, children, and parents, exploring the emotional bonds that shape human identity, nurture compassion, and sustain individuals across different stages of life, relationships, and memory.
