Cohesive Societies, Resilient Future

This book presents key speeches and insights from the 3rd International Conference on Cohesive Societies (ICCS), held in Singapore on 24-26 June 2025. It highlights the importance of building social cohesion in multicultural societies through dialogue, engagement, and mutual understanding.

Opening with a Foreword by Ambassador Ong Keng Yong (Executive Deputy Chairman of RSIS, NTU), the volume features keynote addresses by His Excellency Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, and His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Sultan of Perak and Deputy Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Alongside contributions from distinguished conference speakers, the book offers thought-provoking commentaries and transcripts that capture the spirit of the International Conference on Cohesive Societies (ICCS). Structured around the three themes of Unpacking Multiculturalism, Navigating Uncertainty, and Forging Societal Resilience, each section begins with editorial commentary to guide readers through the key ideas.
