Children Do Not Grow Up Like Each Other

I only had three red apples, which I had sacrificed for my absurd imagination, and I had no more than a dry, empty white gunny sack. One of the children, named Akbar, invited me to have lunch with him, but because I knew he had enough food only for himself, I did not accept it and said: "I am not hungry." Sitting in one place increased my hunger even more. I got up and walked until I fainted from hunger and sat on a flat rock. My eyes fell on our teachers, who were sitting by the water under a cool shade, grilling lamb. When I saw all those skewers, my eyes popped out of the socket. As the skewered meat was grilled, my heart was also grilling. I was like a cat sitting near meat and expecting kindness from people.
