The story was originally put together as a Christmas gift for Mr. Busby's wife. Mr. Busby says "It was a way to gently tell the truth to our daughter about how we came together as a family." In sharing this personal story, the authors hope to provide a starting point for discussions between other adoptive parents and their daughters from China.
