Beyond The Birch Woods

Beyond the Birch Woods takes readers of all ages on a search for something that does not exist. If you have ever searched for something that is not possible to be found, then you will understand the journey of Red. He leaves his family's home on the Birch River, venturing into uncharted territories in search of adventure.
Once muskrat Red and his cousin Yarden venture beyond the safety of the Birch Woods, they meet a variety of likeable characters; Quinn the poetic chipmunk, Snowie the brown rabbit, George the groundhog, and more. Accidentally eating hallucinogenic mushrooms, coming face to face with a fox, being the guest of honor at a performance of Streamdance (a scaled down version of Riverdance), and other truly enticing events, the pair deal with more than they ever could have bargained for.
Red has an inquisitive personality, is constantly using his catch phrase, and is open to learning through his experiences. In addition to the Birch Woods, Red takes us to Chipmunk Corners, the Ivy League, Lavender Lake, the Forest of Illusion, and other memorable places.
