Babylon Life

We tend to think of Babylon as a distant place or a civilization lost to the ancient past. But Babylon is more than the ruins of an ancient city. It represents a world organized without God-a culture that demands our allegiance, reshapes our thinking, and pressures us to bow. What if Babylon is not somewhere else? What if we are already living in it?

Daniel was taken from his home and forced to live under the authority of pagan kings. His name was changed, his beliefs were challenged, and his life was repeatedly threatened. Yet Daniel did not retreat from Babylon, nor did he surrender to it. He learned how to remain faithful in a place that was not his home.

We face the same challenge. How do we remain faithful when the culture around us rejects what we believe? How do we speak truth without becoming angry, fearful, or compromised? How can we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?

Babylon Life explores Daniel's example and his extraordinary prophecies. His visions reveal where history is heading, why the kingdoms of this world cannot last, and why God's people can live with courage and hope. Babylon may appear powerful, but it will fall. Another kingdom is coming-one that will never be shaken, conquered, or replaced.
