Awakening in Falkinhart

Nineteen-year-old Mike Cole is a legend online and lost offline. As Wulfric Falkinhart, a medieval knight in the game Legends of Falkinhart, he knows exactly who he is, his role, his purpose, his strength. As a college student, he's cutting classes, numbing himself with endless raids, and pushing away his girlfriend, his parents, and his own anxiety.

When his friend Noah unveils a new prototype VR system promising "next-level immersion," Mike volunteers to escape his life for a few hours. The experiment goes terribly wrong.

On the other side, Wulfric awakens in a very real medieval world with no memory of Mike or the world of glowing screens. As mysterious cracks begin to spread across the sky and whispers of another reality stir beneath the surface, Wulfric slowly uncovers a truth stranger than either life he's known: he and Mike aren't two different people.
