A Night in Cairo

Murder and adventure are rife in this noir inspired tale with leading actress Hedy Carmichael when she discovers that her beloved uncle was murdered. The tale takes her from the sunny groves of California to the sandy dunes in the Valley of the Kings as she, her brother, and beloved Ahjossi try to solve the mystery of who murdered her uncle and why. To make matters worse, people different nations are now after her trying to collect her uncle's notebook containing his notes from his digs. Rumor is that he discovered the lost tomb of Pharaoh Nefertiti and the location is recorded in the notebook.

Gene David Marchetti is a private detective that was hired by Hedy to look for her missing brother. When it is discovered that the disappearance was linked to an even more sinister plot of murder, he does all he can to solve the mystery that plagues his favorite actress. He juggles with imposters syndrome and the effects World War II had on his psyche all while trying to fulfill his duties as a detective. David certainly never expected to be in the presence of such a secretive and beautiful woman whom he already admired on screen and may be falling in love with.
