It unfolds a vivid portrait of a turbulent and dark era, where conspiracies, pain, and hardship intertwine with resilience, loyalty, and the brilliance of humanity. Before putting pen to paper, I wrestled with uncertainty for many years, for "to write poetry after Auschwitz is barbarism." Even now, I still question whether I am qualified to depict this era. However, once the stories took root, they acquired a life of their own, and I merely transcribed them onto the pages.
